Reason #87 why Singapore sucks:
digging out a piece of clothing you haven’t worn for a while, and it’s MOLDY. ugh.
It’s so unbelievably pleasant out today I can’t get over it. It’s that perfect room temperature (my computer says 79 F, but it doesn’t feel that hot) that you only get a few precious days of in Virginia. No aircon today, hanging out in the living room and all the windows are open. It’s because it’s been overcast all day so the sun hasn’t had a change...
Today I tried a battered, deep-fried mars bar for the first time. It was hot and melty and sinful.
Seriously, why aren’t Brits fatter than Americans? You don’t need to fry everything!
Also, hooray for the overturning of prop 8! Glad to have some good news coming out of the US.
Some of the most kind, generous people I have ever known I have met while living in Singapore. I am very grateful for them.
