Today I rafted down the Davao river and drank spring water dripping from the ceiling of a cave! I found out that gatorade can come in glass bottles, and I also got pretty sunburnt.
After a short trip to the Phillipines with my friend Sheryl, I will have less than two weeks to get everything together- and I mean giving away more stuff, packing up whats left, attempting to get my portfolio into shape which I seem to be painfully slow at, and saying goodbye to everyone I know here. Then Chris and I will go on our icing on the cake trip… New Zealand! then probably another...

Singapore never fails to bewilder me…
Finally knocked some things off our Singapore touristy to-do list- we went to Marina Bay and visited the ArtScience Museum (exhibits on the Titanic and Andy Warhol), walked along that cool double helix bridge, and took pictures of the Merlion! (finally)

Singaporeans act like everyone obviously knows this.
Today is the beginning of feeling sad about leaving Singapore. And the fact that my shoe broke this morning fits in with that- this is the only city where I can walk barefoot without worrying about broken glass or hepatitis.
The phrase “going to America” still has that ring to it. Everyone here is so positive about my next step, its a stark contrast to the attitudes of my friends...
