My awesome weekend

I am planning a trip to Japan. Bwah ha ha! It will be the most worthwhile thing we do in Asia, and hopefully it will improve Chris’ mood. I am goaling for December 24th through January 6th (Christmas in Japan!!!!!  :D  )  and now I just have to get my leave application approved and then I will buy tickets!!! and then I will try to find an available hostel!!! And then we will have to buy or rent winter coats, because we’re going to Sapporo. Hellz yeah!!!

Saturday night I went out with some people from work and had way too much fun. Mostly everyone from Primary school and a bunch of us from Kindergarten met at the Pump Room, which was ridiculously expensive, so after two drinks that cost as much as a decent grocery shopping I left with Katrina, Sheryl, Denah, Vanessa, Shanthi, Jake and Alex to search for cheaper booze. We ended up doing a shot of tequila, buying vodka at 7-11 and drinking it sitting on a wall, having another shot of tequila (and haggling the price down), and going back to the Pump where finally there was a transvestite singing and we danced like crazy. She didn’t sing very much though, so we left and went to another place. It had a cover charge of $28 (with 2 drinks included) but I was like, “OK, goodnight then,” and then Denah said to the bouncer, “good job, now she’s leaving!” and they let me in for free. Haha! We squished our way across a super crowed dance floor and went up to the second story, where we looked down at the crowd like we were awesome. We went onto a little “stage” area to dance(it just felt like a stage- it was for electronics I think) and we got told off. Denah has a phone number in her phone under “Ryan USA” and she has no idea who it is.

Sunday was spent in bed. But it was worth it!

Also, good things at work, I get to paint a mural! Its small but I’m happy because I’ve always wanted to do that.

Our adventures in a tiny country that's as old as my mom and can be transversed via public transportation in about 2 hours. I post about food, Singapore's eccentricities, and other interesting places we go in Asia. This is where we live:
